Vegas Dave is the biggest joke of a handicapper that I have ever seen! Sure, he is a funny guy and I enjoy his videos, but his picks absolutely suck! He over analyzes everything. I'm sure they didn't bring him on board for his betting knowledge. There's more to it.

In my four years of capping pro football publicly (sending out my newsletter) I've never had a record under .500. Historically I've done pretty well with hockey and baseball, though not off to a great start on baseball this year, obviously, but its a long season.

All that said? My philosophy picks in the NFL are money. Everything else is a "joke", but I do try really hard it! Maybe someday...

Back when I was in high school I used to run a football pool. Everyone threw in 5 bucks and picked every game, best record won. Used to get pools over $200 regularly. I later adjusted it to include the spread, but year one it was just straight up winners.

One week, I said fvck it, I'm just going to flip a coin. I flip a coin on all 14 games. Fvcking laughably pathetic picks. I fold it up and toss it in my folder and proceed to make my regular, handicapped picks instead.

I went 7-7 that week. My coin flipped picks had gone 12-2, which would have taken down the $235 pool that week.

He's an Ensign in the Navy and studying in Pensacola to be an aviator to protect our country. He didn't mean a word of what he said last night, he was just having fun by getting banned as a show of solidarity with Bread and Fiver. He has more moral fiber in his pinky than this whole board combined, and I'll thank you to show him some well-earned respect.
