Got to see LVille up close, right behind their bench at the 40. They were handed 21 right away by a terrible defense. Syracuse probably is in the top 5 of least amount of talent out of P5 teams. Lamar was basically playing against a scout team where you're not allowed to touch him. We can't tackle, or play the ball in the air. We still were able to get it to 14 for a long time, but missed a few chances to make it 7. Once it was a 21 point game, they gave up and LVille got a bunch of garbage points. FSU wins, and keeps Lamar in check.Comment -

His receivers did drop a lot of easy balls last week. Still, I don't believe he is an elite passer, or even close. He gets to the edge against inferior defenses in the first two games, and is great in space running. I think FSU will be able to contain him. He will have his moments, but I think FSU makes him beat them passing. Another obvious one. A lot of throws against Syracuse weren't great, but the secondary couldn't find the ball and knock it down. Better teams would have, or even intercepted them.
He does have some great weapons. Staples is a beast, and Samuels a speedster. Radcliffe dropped an easy one that would have been a big gain, but he didn't even hit him in stride for an easy TD. Same with a TD early in the 21-0 quick onslaught. Ball was under thrown deep, but the defender couldn't find it. Not gonna happen with FSU. All my opinion, but he's that early hype candidate for Heisman that fades, IMO.
Gonna be a battle though. Louisville has a huge DLine, and scumbag Bobby knows how to coach. Like having his guys fall down faking injuries. Was right in front of the training table. Only one real injury in that game. It was hot, but they weren't really cramping. #14 got right back out there, and was the main culprit. He never came to the table, once.

So little faith. Ya, FSU will give up some plays but will also take the ball away. Not that previous years matter but FSU has met this team 16 times. FSU is 14-2 and is 4-1 at Ville. They have also racked up over 40 a game recently and average 35 points. For their sake I hope they score because that defense is going to be lit up by FSU.
