I signed up but can't figure out how to talk. My laptop has speakers but where am I supposed to talk to. Do I talk at the screen or the speakers?

I'm a newbie so please help me coach.

There should be a test in skype options when your logged on

go to options, make sure that mic is set-up to work with Skype
