There are a few that come to mind, Gretzky scoring TWO shorthanded goals on the same 2:00 minute penalty kill, that *may* be tied someday but the odds of a player (penalty killer) scoring THREE shorthanded goals in 2:00 while killing a penalty? Never!

I remember reading about a baseball player that hit two grand slams in an inning, can't remember the details though.

Another one, Darryl Sittler getting 10 points 6 goals 4 assists against Boston back in the 1970's, I seriously doubt a player could get 12 points in an NHL game nowadays.

UCLA winning 7 straight college basketball championships. With kids leaving early, and the idea of high school kids going to Europe, this will not happen again.

The records that won't be touched are dealing with longevity...like 512 wins for a pitcher...not possible these days

Someone could score a certain # of goals in a game, or points in a game...but no one will get 512 wins...or the strikeout record, because it deals with longevity that will not occur in todays game...

512 wins is less likely than doing this....although both are very unlikely

John Stockton's assist record, even Chris Paul would have to play 13 more seasons averaging 14 a game to break that

and if you want to include cy young's victories/losses in this discussion then you need to include stats like

most complete games in a season
                                    most innings in a season
                                    most cg career
                                    most innings career

                                    as those are more untouchable

215 points and 92 goals in a season seem impossible to repeat unless the sport changes drastically. Today's goalies are way too big.

I managed a 250 points season as a first-line center in NHL '09. Medium difficulty. I was playing the whole game all the time with fatigue turned off.
