mexicans, asians, and even muslims dont do what black people are doing now because they lack balls. They accept where they are and move on. Unfortunately, everyone does not think that way. Thats why black people are speaking up now. I do agree that there are cases where the BLM movement is dramatic and counterproductive. However, there are many cases where they have a point. Black people dont have it as well as white people. It is well documented. Research has been done to prove this very point. Just this thread alone shows you what people truly think of black people behind closed doors. So that arguement is null and void. I am one of those black people that isnt active in the BLM. I choose not to because I think it could be improved. I agree with its foundation, but the actions arent always the best imo. I just try to be a good citizen and hope to lead by example. I excell in school. Im an honors student at FSU. I volunteer every other day. And i just try to be a nice guy overall. But we all cant deny the fact that minorites, and that doesnt mean only black people, do not have the same opportunities as white people. Its a problem that wont get fixed in a day, but its making progress. White people really dont have the right to commentate on it because they havent experienced being black. Just like i havent experienced being white or any other race. There are so many variables to this arguement where it makes progress hard. But dont bash black people for trying to make some type of change.

You just named one area in michigan. The united states consist of 50 states, correct? That doesnt mean they represent the muslims in america. I can provide statistics and mutliple documented articles on how the majority of muslims in america are not granted the same opportunities as others. You are taking that phrase too literally. My point was a counterargument to the previous post. He stated that these other minorities dont complain, so why should blacks. What has really been done to accomplish anything resembling change by this "movement?" Blocking traffic on interstates, thereby disregarding the rights of others because you believe your rights have been infringed upon. Burning down and destroying property, while harassing people based on skin color (whites in a vid filmed in Milwaukee). You know, I guess it is okay to be racist, just not against certain people.

Folks have the freedom in this country to follow the same path you have. Graduate high school and in many cases get free degree opportunities, but apparently some people can't be bothered with hard work and become nothing more than failures. Once they become failures, they'd like to lay blame retroactively on someone/something else. That's an issue with accountability that we have in this country.

I have an example of our lack of accountability in this country (it also shows ignorance by me, regarding the law). I once committed an idiotic crime. When my court date arrived and I stood before the judge, I plead guilty. The prosecutor and judge were aghast, and made me get counsel. It was if they couldn't believe someone would just own up to their own mistakes and face the consequences associated with their actions.

I don't think Asians, Muslims and or Blacks have it bad living here in America if they apply themselves and stay in school, read books, save money and start a small business... If you are qualified for a tech, medical, or business job chances are if you interview and are friendly in nature you will get the job regardless of color or race.. You can apply for a business loan and get it regardless of color as well..
