I think this is fair. The only way out for the guy was to begrudgingly go to New York... even though he wanted to go to Minnesota all along.

So sign a 2-year deal with the Jets and get out after honoring one year of the deal.

That freed him up for Minny and Childress.....

... I say let the man play.

No doubt. If he is capable and wants to play, let him play.

Would love to see him stick it to Green Bay... the team that ****ed him up the ass despite all the shit he did for that franchise. Unreal, really.

It was the other way around. Held GB hostage for several years trying to get out of camp. Would not help Rodgers out when GB drafted him. Arrogant POS. Yet to think I watched every down he played for GB.

Go away. He has a vendetta against TT when they said he would need to compete for the starting job. If you are so great why would you not compete? Arrogance.

You have no clue. Seriously. Favre has carefully orchestrated this entire soap opera. Did you miss his tearful retirement speech one year ago? Did you miss his flip flopping will I or won't I retire for the prior 4 or 5 years? I feel for Ted Thompson on this one, I mean how is he supposed to plan a team when the star QB doesn't even know if he's going to play or not. IMHO Thompson made the best of a bad situation there. Favre is just being a brat. I've been a Favre apologist for a long long time, but if he goes to the Vikings, he's made an enemy in me. I hope Kampman ends his career with a body slamming sack if Favre comes to Green Bay as a Viking.

Or it could be the other way around?

Do you remember Danny Ainge simply walking away from Phoenix.... b/c he wanted time with his family?

Puhlease. The guy was forced out and they ****ed him over.... yet they carefully orchestrated a media play to make it not look that way.... and forced him to make that announcement in public.

Sometimes athletes look bitches b/c organizations run the same shit... and as a person or athlete you have to play dirty to look out for your interests. It's just like 'organized mafias' or 'human resources' departments for companies.

Unless you're on the inside I don't think you can really comment.

So, you are saying that you are an insider regarding the Favre situation?
