The worst differential in the NFL for the 9ers and they have done little to help with that personnel-wise. Unless the coaching staff can work miracles with the existing players, the 9ers will go nowhere with such horrible line play.
9er starting CB, Walt Harris, torn ACL. He is out for the season.

    Unreal.

I'll say Arizona again, lightly regarded even after last year. Now have a legit running back, which will help the passing game even more, picked up a good free agent cornerback to go with DRC, and firing defensive coordinator is addition by subtraction. Can they fly under the radar again? They are so far.

If the Lions wins a game they are having a good year. Sorry I couldn't resist

So I'll say Falcons. They had an awesome draft, defense will be improved. If Ryan avoids the sophomore slump, watch out boys.

But for a non-playoff team that might surprise some people I'm gonna say the Texans. I have a feeling the Titans don't make the playoffs and the Colts are on the downswing.
Texans snag a wildcard and make their first postseason ever, and possibly do some damage.

I think 49ers are a year or two away, but It's not impossible.

If Lions win 5 games they had a great year.

Agreed remove Snyder and Redskins have a shot.

What about the Seahawks? They should have a much better season than last year. Defence will be solid. If Hasselbeck stays healthy and whosyourmomma works out, could be a good season for the 'hawks.

Green Bay Packers. They might be the best 6-10 team I have ever seen. They have a very easy schedule this year as well. They go 11-5 with ease.

There won't be a version of the Cards this season. What they did is too rare. From laughing stock to almost winning it all.

Teams with a good shot at bouncing back are the Packers, Jags, and Seahawks.
