Dodgers Going For 13-0 At Home vs Nationals 5/6/2009
Yet the line is only a mere -200. Anyone want to take a crack at why?

I can't imagine why other than Kershaw's inconsistency thus far. If it was a higher rated pitcher you'd easily be looking at -250 or more.
Secondly the Nationals while still being a disgrace can and have been putting up runs the last few games.

Kershaw is too erratic for the price to be higher, he got rocked the last time he faced Washington and the Nationals are batting a surprising .289 vs. left-handers this season (.306 on the road).

Lots of gamblers out there will be fading LA @ home for a few more games. On road I am unsure what gamblers may think.

I was wondering the same thing. Cabrera sucks and Kershaw is strong. I thought the line would be closer to -280. I'll hold off til closer to game time.

Got 4 units to win 2, on the Dodgers.
I'll go higher, tomorrow, if the forum doesn't convince me not to go higher.
And injury reports
And whatever else could convince me not too put a grip on the Dodgers.

WASH is 2-10 on the road.
That's 2 wins and 10 losses. Im not that good in math but I can figure out that equation.

Why hold off? The line is likely to move closer to -280 than the other way around.

I was just giving reasoning for the line, not playing the game myself.

Continue to bet Dodgers until they lose at home...especially do a terrible Nationals team.
RL for me tonight at even money or close to it

9 of those road games were vs. righty starters though. They hit lefties better.
Just sayin'.
Again, I am passing.

I like LA tonight, not necessarily because of Kershaw but because of Cabrera, the Nats' pen sucks, and they had a late getaway to fly cross-country yesterday after that game with Houston.

For me this isn't even a handicap situation. I guess if you haven't already jumped on the train you might be thinking of it in those terms, but for those who are already on our ride is paid for. Run line for me tonight at just under even money. Choooo Chooooooo!!
