In soccer the big teams don't send their stars there. Not sure why NBA players need the Olympics. All they care is paychecks.

in olympic soccer/football

teams are made up of u23 players.....so obviously they dont send out their world cup team

this is the reason why honduras, senegal, iraq, etc perform better in the olympics and why it is so hard to win an olympic gold

I am not stupid. FIFA put the rules for the Olympics. FIBA needs to do the same. Only up to 23 year olds allowed in basketball.

You are clueless. The International Olympic Committee doesn't decide who plays soccer or basketball. FIFA decides which players can play soccer and FIBA decides which basketball players can play. If it was up to IOC the big names of soccer would be at the Olympics because IOC will make more money.
