Everybody loves a flair team, no one wants to watch the rough and tumble.

The smart money would be on Chelsea today. They are the home side (home advantage is a massive factor in football [soccer]), Barcelona are missing both of their 2 best centre backs, and Barca failed to score at home v Chelsea. That was the first time they hadn't scored at Nou Camp all season.

The only thing that is actually going against Chelsea today is the fact that a 0-0 away means that anything BUT a win for Chelsea means they go out (except 0-0, which would take it to extra time).

Ashley Cole will be back, who is amongst the best LB in the world, to deal with Messi. Barca's options, to partner the young Pique in the centre of their defence is a LB in Abidal, or a midfielder in Yaya Toure. To try and have Pique/Abidal or Pique/Yaya deal with an on-form Drogba would be ludacris.

To simplify the above, Drogba will only have to have a good match for Chelsea to go through, whereas Messi will have to be at his best for Barca to win.

I am really feeling Chelsea here in this position. I am very iffy on the over/under but I am leaning towards the under in this match. But then again my gut is really saying high scoring event here.

I read somewhere for Chelsea to advance they must score double the amount of goals that Barca scores. In ESPN's streak it says which team will advance. Will a simple Chelsea win advance them or did what I read make sense? I don't know my ass from my hand when it comes to EUEFA.

Chelsea advances only with a win unless the game ends scoreless in both regular time and OT where they have a chance to advance on penalties. Barcelona advances with a win or any scoring tie 1-1, 2-2, 3-3 etc because of the away goal rule.

I have Chelsea pk. But Chelsea is fukked. If they give up a goal that means they have to score 2 because of the away goals.
