It's last week of classes, so I need to somewhat pay attention...next week is finals.

Plus, I don't drink a lot anyway. Only started a few months ago.

Gracias, Sr. Casper. Can't recall the last Cinco de Mayo that I did not have a drink, but per my doctor's instructions this will be an alcohol-free day.

Also the 32nd anniversary of one of the ugliest events in the history of the Houston Police Department, and there have been many over the years. In what became known as 'Sink in the Bayou' by insensitive, ignorant white trash in Houston, I pay my respects to Jose Campos Torres. Viva la revolución!

The riot really happened on the one-year anniversary of the event in 1978. The North Side was one rough spot to be if you were white or wearing police blue back then.
