Are the Lakers overrated????......

For a team that is head and shoulders better than the rest of the league including the overly worshiped Lebron James and the Cavs, they sure have not shown much so far in the playoffs. They played one exceptional game against Utah, when they buried them at Utah. They have been sleep walking so far and it finally bit them in the ass last night. Until they start playing some "D", they will have their hands full with Houston, not to mention that if they get by Houston they will probably play Denver who has looked better than the lakers so far in the 2009 playoffs and is playing pretty good defense in the post season so far.

Lakers are inconsistent, but not overrated. When two teams line up and play their best, the Lakers will win 95%of the time. When two teams line up and nothin is on the line, the Lakers will still win 70% of the time. The Lakers have still won 4 and lost 2 in the playoffs. I bet no one will bet that they will lose more than they will win. Even at +odds

laker spreads are about 1-2 points higher than they should be. especially on the weekends when people from california (such as myself) flock to las vegas. ive made it a habit to never bet on the lakers fri-sunday.

They are all smoke just like the Yankees are this year and last year. Lakers will not Beat Denver, they will not make the finals, if someway they pull it out they will not beat Cleveland.

Many gamblers lost their shirts last year taking Lakers against Boston, same thing will happen this year.
