23 years old and her parents still have that much control over her. I understand that it was just a "suggestion" by her parents but man they really need to stay out of these types of things. They should be happy for their daughter as long as she is happy....if you are what makes her happy then what is the issue?

I guess it will all work out in the end, either the parents will come around and realize that you are a decent guy or things with the girl won't work out anyway....Its probably the waiting until one these things to happen that makes it shitty....

The issue is she was hurt by the last guy and her parents are now trying to protect her at all costs.
