    Ian Kinsler
is improving his game year by year and is starting to take control of defense and offense. Best in the game at his position? I dunno, but I love the fight in the kid.

Dumb post. The current MVP is the best 2B in the game.

Kinsler is very solid, needs to be more durable and stay in the line up more though

Don't believe the post was dumb at all. Nothing against Pedroia, love his balls-to-the-wall style, but let's face it: He got votes just because he plays for a very public team in Boston. Half the fans out there can't even tell you who the Rangers' 2B is.

If Kinsler stays healthy, he'll have the best 2B numbers in the game...and it probably won't be close.

Utley is off to a sick start and has better numbers than Kinsler at this point... If i'm starting a team and taking any second baseman in the game though I'm taking Kinsler since Utley is already 30 years old

Ian Kinsler will post the best numbers of any 2B in the game this year. He was leading the league in hits, doubles, runs scored & RBIs before he got hurt in August of last year. Obviously, this is contingent on whether he stays healthy. I have a hunch he will this year other wise he might have a little baseball jinx on him.

If he gets his defense in order he will be the best second basemen in the league.

Rings make players. Without a ring he will always be inferior to Pedroia. Noone cares about stats. Look at Arod or Bonds!

So what about Dan Marino,Karl Malone, and John Stockton? Dan could wing it around and Karl Malone may be the second best PF behind Duncan. You cant blame them for not having other players around them to get a ring. And yes rings do help the cause but I dont think it cements them into greatness, thats like saying Trent Dilfer is better than Marino.

Marino is doing TV to earn a paycheck and Jordan is a VP of an NBA team. This is the difference of having rings.

That is a pretty ridiculous statement. Especially in baseball.

And Isiah Thomas ran the CBA into the ground, phucked up the Knicks and now is coaching at fourth tier university.

C'mon Pavy, you're better than this. Jamie Moyer got a ring last year, and Roy Halladay didn't. So by your logic Moyer is the better pitcher.

Definitely a lot of talent at second base this year.
