better a pitcher than a catcher i guess, answer me a question rs, is it true that mexicans have a larger homo(gay, queer whatever) per person rate than the average race?

maybe a list of the highest homo per capita cultures?

It took a little time to parse, but I was able to compile this data from the U.S. Census in 2000. Granted, this data is only applicable to America, and I wasn't able to find a wider-reaching study consisting of data compiled globally and sorted by race. In the U.S., here's your breakdown of out-of-the-closet GLBT folk sorted by race:

                        Caucasian: 70.8%
                        Latino: 11.5%
                        African American: 8.1%
                        Asian: 2.2%
                        Native American/Alaskan: 0.7%
                        Two or more races: 6.7%

This list also matches my personal experience, adjusted for the fact that I've spent my life living on the West Coast, where we naturally have higher percentages of Asians and Latinos and fewer African Americans than other parts of the country. It also supports my anecdotal experience that gay people that you would, at first glance, ascribe to being "Black" or "Asian" more often than not have a Caucasian-American parent (Thus explaining why you'll see tons of "Asian" men in the baths in San Francisco, but more of them end up in the "Two or more" category than in the Asian category). I don't know if having some European heritage "brings out the gay in them," but that would be my conclusion to date. Thanks for asking the question, ijw2bp.
