    Alan Boston Interview
Alan Boston was on Leroy's Sports Hour on Nov. 8th. He may be abrasive and a borderline lunatic, but he's also highly engaging and as close to a genius as a degenerate sportsbettor can be. I could listen to him talk all day long.

I heard the interview last night as well. Yeah he is a bit of a dick....cocky for sure but really knows his stuff as well as anyone when it comes to college hoops....he also a degree from an Ivy league school so there is probably a lot of truth to the lunacy claim. He's had some tough years I heard and is now part of the "sports advisory" business...but I could be wrong there.

On a side note, a book called The Odds by Chad Millman profiles Alan Boston and two other Las Vegas personalities during the 1999-2000 NCAAB basketball season. It paints a very dark picture of a professional gambler's life and the roller coast ups and downs that gamblers experience. Without a doubt, it is the best gambling book I ever read and is a real page turner. You can get it from your local public library....lot of insights I took away from that book. Well worth it.

Alan is a pro and is not part of any advisory board. He hit 90% of his 2006 NCAA March Madness plays. He is the real deal.

Well the book I referenced mentioned him entering the sports advisory business and some down years he was having.....but he is a pro and is considered as good as it gets in NCAAB

all I said was the book reported that he had been having some tough years and was going broke and was reluctantly considering entering the "sports advisory" business.....

Read the book it is good....
