What other sports would he be great in? I don't really see any. To be the greatest athlete of all time you would at least have the potiential to be great in other sports. Example Lebron could be an NFL Player, left fielder in baseball, soccer player or pretty much anything else in the sports world. Messi is the greatest soccer player ever though.Comment -

Crazy to say anyone would be as good as messi. Guys a once in a life time talent. Could have been great in any sport that didn't require size. Soccer one of the last sports where being small doesn't hamper your ability to be elite. Even hockey, it's rare that guys are that size and weight and are elite. Guy has skills beyond what we have ever seen.l but skills don't make or break your atletic career. Look at all the NCAA basketball kids who don't make it cuz they don't have the size.
Take a guy like St Louis' Jordair Jett. Guy had the skills, but not the size to go to NBA. Type of player he was, had he been 6'4-'6 he would have been crazy to pass up. Guy was a tank with strength and ability to get to the rim, just wasn't the right body for the NBA. Could have been a running back, that kid.Comment -
