Kyl survived in Arizona, but the A-hole Jim Leach was defeated in Iowa.

This is great news. Too bad Kyl did not go down also. But the Dems are in power now. This weakens Kyl big time if and when he tries to add on to anymore anti-internet gambling bills.
I am optimistic that this BS gambling bill will lose some of its teeth now that the Dems are in power. You can bet the polticians took notice that Leach is out after being a congressman since 1976.

It's really too bad. He was going to make it so that it would be impossible for any of us to make an immoral decision. Life would have become so easy.

I would not say that BB. You think the Dems are going to go full steam ahead and carry out the republicans agenda to do away with internet gambling? You think the politicians are taking notice to what happened to Leach? You bet they are.

Even though the gambling issue is what he is best known for on here....i tended to agree with a lof of his other positions that were very important to me personally.
