hey SS....who you like for the Derby.....I haven't seen any of the Stakes races prior to tomorrow. Usually, I know some of the horses in the race. But, being at college, I don't get the OTB channel, and don't have DVR, so can't tape anything or even no when races are on.

As of now, I don't know any horse. I plan on doing a little research and maybe watching some clips, but it will be tough to pick a winner.

Actually, I should just guess and just hope. The best finish I've had in the Derby has been 9th place a few years back from a horse named SAM.P other than that, my horses get 17-20.

So, maybe just randomly picking could help me this year.

I know absolutely nothing about horse racing but I locked in Desert Party at +1615 earlier this week. Wagered $100 to win $1615. It's a long shot but it will make it exciting. Hopefully the track conditions will make this a wide open race.
