What the hell has happened to them? Is it the SI jinx? They predicted them for World Series champs. I thought I was getting some good value grabbing them after a slow start. I was wrong, they are terrible.

Giant, what is up with the d-bags whistling loud, over and over. Sometimes bird like whistles. Is that a Houston thing? A mexican thing? A Texican thing? It was very annoying watching on tv. Seems to echo more when there are only a few thousand people in the stands.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Was this going on during the Houston game? I didn't have the sound on, I was just watching it along with seven other games on the screen.

I'm sure one of the Houston residents around here might be able to give you a better answer. I would not be surprised to find out it was Donk giving a woman pleasure.

Yeah, I saw him pitching the other day in the seventh inning. I'm sure that's not what they envisioned for him when they got him.

Honestly, that's probably going to be one of the worst trades ever. Velasquez looks like the real deal.

Yeah, I flipped on the game when it went to extras. It was very annoying. Just constant whistling. The Dbacks local FSN truck was washed away in the flood apparently, so they were using the Root sports tv feed with the Dbacks announcers...so maybe that picked up extra crowd noise? Not sure. I just imagine some fat fukk sitting by himself, whistling like a bird. Because, if I was at a game and near that guy, it would not be happening. Who would deal with that? They showed another girl wearing an oversize cowboy hat a la Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber. I thought, whoever is sitting behind that girl can't see a thing. Sure enough, they zoom out and there isn't a person for at least four rows.

That's why I flipped it on. BM had Astros -135 going into the 11th. Heart of the Dbacks was due up, but Goldy has struggled and Feliz was pounding the strike zone. Saw a little value there, picked up a unit.

Your boys have been a bit of a disaster this year. That Shelby Miller trade looks horrendous. How is that #1 pick shortstop faring?

Yeah, both of my squads (Twins & Dbacks) have been dumpster fires. I hated the Shelby Miller trade right when I heard it. Then, I warmed to it a bit. He is on a fake DL stint right now for his finger. His fukkin' finger that he was scraping on the ground because of how jacked up his follow through mechanics were at the beginning of the season. He's had 1 good outing, one or two ok outings.

As for Dansby Swanson, he shot through single A ball fairly quick (21 games)
His stats for AA in 29 games this season: 19 Runs, 32 Hits, 4 HR's, 15 RBI's, 3 SB's, 13 BB's, 16SO's, .276 batting average, .359 OBP, .448 SLG, .807 OPS

Inciarte not doing well for the Braves. Could have been a Chase Field benefactor...I liked him. Trade is an early absolute disaster though.

Oh, I definitely agree. I think all the teams you listed have a better chance of going all the way. I'm just hoping Houston can make it to the playoffs, and give me the opportunity to make a little money hedging off of this.
