No, it's not. This is a team with a young controlled core and more talent in the pipeline. And they will have financial flexibility. This team wasn't built for this year alone. I didn't say playoffs was even an accomplishment. But pavy was saying how if Maddon misses playoffs he's fired when there's just no chance they miss the playoffs.
MLB playoffs like with NFL playoffs is all about who gets hot. Best team doesn't always win. Any team that gets into the playoffs has a chance to win it all. The Dodgers almost took out the Mets. And was it the Astros that blew the series against the Royals? That's the 2 world series teams right there... Gotta get hot and need some luck to win the world series.Comment -
