    Book requests Credit Card scan
I was asked to send to 2 bookies the scan of my credit card.
I don't know what digits I should erase from the scan.
One bookie asked to give them the first 4 and the last 4.
I don't want to get scamed(I don't have much faith in that bookie).
    Is this the standard procedure?
    Thanks

It is industry standard to scan front/back of your CC if depositing via that method.

Which book are you playing with anyway?

Zedbet and Bet-at-home for the bonus.
But my question is It's ok to send them the scan (front and back) or should I erase some digits?

I wouldn't erase any digits, that will just delay the process further and they would be well within their right and reason to ask you to re-send complete scans. If you used the card to deposit, they are just matching up the info anyway, so why are you worried?

You should always delete the 3 digets on the reverse of the card called the CVN. No honest book would ask for every detail of card. If the worst happens and someone decides to make a few online purchases with your card your card company won't repay your the fraudulant transactions if you have sent some stranger all your details.

I'm sure he had to give those 3 digits when he deposited.

Bad advice and you are an SBR employee. There's a reason one can only see first four and last four digits of the debit/credit card. The rest is encrypted. Against what are they going to match the rest of the eight digits ?

big joe 1212: I'm sure he had to give those 3 digits when he deposited.

But, CVN number is never stored in the bookie's system. Again, it can not be matched and should be hidden while sending a scan.

Hide all the numbers you want but you will never be able to cash out until they have a complete 2 sided scan.

If you have to deposit with a credit card then get a pre-paid and only load it when and with how much you are going to deposit. Not disposable gift-card...actual prepaid ****.

There are many brands but ******** is the most widely accepted among gambling sites. You can also use it for various processors if the site doesn't directly accept ****. Hope that doesn't get me accused of being as shill..not an affiliate nor did I post a link.

Not applicable to European sportsbooks. If you read the original post, the bookie asked to hide the digits. But, I won't be surprised if some of these offshore books have their own rules of baring-it-all-or-we-won't- pay.

Btw, good advice about prepaid **** (not sure if there are additional processing costs involved).

                        Don't send complete scans!

Is in fact your right to not show all the details on your card

I'm sure all D- rated off-shore sportsbooks care about your rights.

Maybe they don't store CVN numbers on your planet, but they do on mine. This is offshore booking we are talking about, not Aunt Maybelle's flower shop. They do not care about your "rights", just your money.

But as long as they pay I don't give a shit.
