Well, it was actually "only" about an hour and a half ... and it was completely my fault.

I was looking in to the *possibility* of adding a new feature to the forum such that new posts would appear in threads without needing to manually refresh the page -- almost like a chat room.

Anyway, in attempting to test this in our administrative sandbox forum, I inadvertently crashed and corrupted a portion of the database.

My thanks go out to Giancarlo and Johnny down here in Costa Rica who together cleaned up my mess, and my apologies go out to everyone annoyed and inconvenienced by this downtime. This includes, I'd suspect, our entire Texas office.

JJ and Bread had a good point, though. MLB.tv's such an inexpensive service to purchase, it's disrespectful to the actual paying customers on the board to promote blatantly stealing it.
