They decided to fire all the management at my company and replace them. You think after going to this job for five straight years without missing a day and getting perfect performance reviews would qualify me for one of these positions. FUK NO!!! They replace my boss with some 30 year old piece of shit that new nothing about what we did. Not only did I get fukked on a promotion but I also got to do the majority of my bosses work because the new management was hell bent on having meetings the whole day. They would sit in these meetings and dream up tasks for everyone else to do. I had a task and assignment list two pages long that I had to meet twice a week to update my boss. In one of these update meetings my boss tells me he don't think I'm working hard enough and that I should be putting in 50-60 hours a week. I tell the dude you don't even put in that many hours and in the six months you been here you have not done shit. You are the last one to be questioning somebody on how hard they are working. I just got up and told him I was not meeting with him any more and I was filing a complaint with HR. I go down to see the HR person and the cunt could care less about about my situation. I went back to my desk packed up my shit and left for good.
If I had to do it all over again I would just learn how to do a trade like make cabinets, install sprinkler systems, pave driveways etc. You could learn how to do any of this stuff in a month and would not have 50K in school loans. I see these guys that do this stuff and all they do is stick flyers in your paper box and on your door. This crap works because I call these guys to fix up my broken shit all the time. You would be your own boss and could work when ever you wanted. You would make better money and could even fukk the government on taxes if you wanted.
I screwed up don't you young guys make the same mistake.
