SBR April Poster Awards

We’ll let the posters pick their Top Poster of the Month, but thought that coming up with some official SBR recognition for excellence was something we should do. The idea was to team a moderator with a couple of posters for a ménage a SBR, as it were, and award some gear from the SBR Warehouse for Rookie of the Month, Gambling Poster of the Month, and Entertainer of the Month.

Helping me out this month were Chi_Archie and Vonnegut, so blame them

SBR Rookie of April: sweetjones55
Other newbies had more posts, but sweetjones got our nod for his regular contributions with no drama. That and the man was on Angel Cabrera in the Masters all along.

Gambling Poster of April: DFoster
Could have been March’s rookie. For those that never get out of Players Talk, DFoster is down in the Baseball Handicapping Forum posting a lot of winning picks since the start of the MLB season.

Entertainer of April: raydog
His news threads have been excellent, very different obviously from diogee, but the two remind me of each other in that they’re accepted by all posters.

Actually there is some guy who hates Ray and calls his girlfriend a man or something. Can't remember who it was. But NOBODY dislikes Diogee. Not sure how he pulls it off in these rough environments. I want to touch him.

As for gambling poster of the month, have you seen my 85% thread?!?! I'm rich and it's documented! Oh, and my American Idol picks have been rolling in, unblemished!!

quite the honor sbr, thank-you. willie bee, i was gonna ask if i could get an autographed and framed pair of Vegas Daves pants from 50lbs ago, but realized that memorabilia of that stature may be worth a small fortune someday and Dave would fight to keep them. who can blame him...

i invited a few friends over for a small party to celebrate and it has gotten out of hand


p.s. if you have ever opened up SBR and seen that you have a pm from Willie Bee, it strikes absolute fear in any man. they dont typically turn out this well
