I was on the 1st USA team to win title and would've made last year's team but slipped off board when I was hospitalized last 2 weeks of qualifying

I set my alarm for 15 mins before the tourney... and fell back to sleep again before it started.

Must have been the right strategy... rock in after 30 mins and intimidate them all with relentless allins from the short stack.

Was only awake 10 or 15 mins then zzzzzzzzz again.

He beat me out for the last spot, terrible run at the beginning was too much to overcome. That, and SBR sticking me at a short handed table the final day instead of moving people from other tables.

The style of play is vastly different between the mtt donkfests and a short handed 4 person table.
