I'm pissed, was planning on going there for the derby, gotta trek to Laurel or Charles town now
If you are going to Laurel or Charles Town to bet, wouldn't it be wiser just to open up a YouBet account and watch the races from home or from your computer?

Yes most likely casper but derby day is more about the atmosphere than the actual gambling, i usually place bets online and then go to the track and do some more anyway

Won't be long until you can't go to any track in Md. to wager, unless slots come in,this state will lose all tracks. They shut down my simmy track in OC for 60 days and it sucked, glad they will be open for the Derby.

Yeah so they say,but now all these little small towns want a piece of the action.Grew up in the sixties at Bowie,Laurel and Pimlico, hate to see what this state has done to a Md. tradition. Most people don't realize that alot of the top jockeys in the country got their bug in Md.,now the ****ers won't get near this place because of the cheesy purses.
