After this game, it's hard not to put this series in the top 10 of all time.

No chance, unless OT is the only factor involved. The only reason the series is even this close is because Boston is banged up, and Chicago has taken advantage of that. You think Rose would be running up and down inside of the paint with KG around?

It feels like two mediocre teams just beating the hell out of each other, not worthy of all-time classic.

Lou, the fact that all the games have nail biting close (sans one) leads me to believe that this is one of the top 10 series of all time. You are to young to remember the Celtics/Lakers matchups in the 80's, but let me tell you, ask great as they were (and they were great) they had some clunker games in those series. As far as the Knicks/Bulls in the 90's I agree, those were great series. Also remember, it is easy to glorify the old, but hard to appreciate the new. This series 10 years from now will be looked at with different sets of eyes because players like Rose & Rondo will be considered "Elite Players" by then.

Probably not simply because there was 1 blowout game. There have been many 7 game series that were neck to neck the whole time.

as far as first round matchups with as low of a seed and as high of a seed, yes this has been a great matchup. They must have close to 100 lead changes in the 4 close games in this series.

Why can't I. I mean if you are grading a series on pure entertainment and sport value, of course you can. Just because it is not a Finals does not diminish the intensity of the game. Look at baseball where some of the greatest games ever played were regular season games.football the same way. If you think about it, the Super Bowl is usually anticlimatic compared to some of the years earlier games.
