browner pastures? the hartford whalers were not even filling half the arena in their last few years they used to have the biggest crowds in the early years..it was sad to go to a game before they moved.the arenas were half empty, hartford conn. is not a hockey town by any means

I think karmanos would move the hurricanes but there is alot of money in that raleigh rtp area and they do alot better financially than they did in hartford from what he says.

I would love to see karmanos do something for the state of michigan and another nhl team in michigan,he is based out of michigan and made his money in the wolverine state

I guess carolina still does better than some other teams.

Another team in Michigan would be great, plus another team in southern Ontario. I would love if they put a team in Seattle, which is probably the best market in the staes without a team, they just need a stadium. It would be awesome to drive 2 hours to watch a Canucks road game..
