Questions to American expatriots and those who lived in US now living somewhere else
    1.Where do you live now?

2.Do you prefer the life there or would you come back?

My reason for asking; Disenchanted with the govt. and declining morals of this once great nation. Its people seem to have lost its "soul", not in the religious way( I don't believe in religions).

    1) I live in Colombia

    2) I prefer living here and have no intentions of going back to the usa

--but none of that has anything to do with the US gov't.

Hey Durito, thanks for the quick reply.

How long there, and what's the best part of living there? Is it the people?

2 years. The people are probably the best part yes. The weather too.

That' cool. I live in LA and meet people from all over the world, and when talking to them, they seem to speak from their heart and not from their heads.

I just don't feel like a human being anymore, maybe because I'm living in a big city. But I think it's this society that's gone too corrupt and greedy, and it's people reflect that.

Only thing that stops me from leaving here now is my parents and sister that I take care of.
But in few years, I may make that jump.

I've lived abroad a couple times. I moved back. I love the US, and would rather live here than most placed - even if I make a lot less money.

It makes a difference where you emigrate. If you go to Aruba, Bagladesh, Sweden or Congo. Not every country is the same.
