One change I'm going to try to make from here on in is NO half-ass betting. In other words, some days I'm super busy at work (like today), or I may be having a hectic weekend day, whatever, and I want to make plays (because don't we all??), but I have no actual time to do any of the research I like (i.e., looking at pitchers' game logs, recent team/player trends, lineups, head-to-head stats, umpires, etc.). Well from now on, if I don't have time to look at everything I ordinarily would want to before deciding on plays, I'm just not playing anything. I've got to protect what I've built here. Discipline!

I have to laugh. Today was Day 1 of my new "disciplined bettor" strategy. I had very little down time for any serious capping, all I did was look at the card and check a couple of folks' threads. Last night I swore that if I couldn't put the proper time in, I wouldn't make or post plays. I did, however, have time to take note of what I would have played if I were doing my usual rushed betting. And yup, predictably, every one hit!
Easy-peasy! Cueto RL, Syndegaard RL, Jays, and Red Sox. Easiest money I'd have made all season! At least I did tail Lep's first-inning winner and hit my one soccer play. But still, that's not the same as winning my own MLB plays in here. Fukkin hell.
Now because of that, I think I have to skip another full day before I play again.

Square play but I don't know how you don't do this. Arrieta has dominated the Bucs, including twice this season, and Liriano hasn't been sharp at all, including a bludgeoning by the Cubs last month. The only possible negatives are No Kris Bryant, and the fact that Arrieta has looked more human this year. But even with that, he's still a beast, with numbers off the chart. Wow, started out great yesterday, two plays that were easy wins, and then everything else was shit. Down 2.94x. So:

+2K sounds nice, but back on Page 8 of this thread it was +40x = 4K!!!
Feeling pretty fadeable these days. I'm gonna keep pushing, but if I can't reverse the trend and keep on sinking, may just kill the thread and tail other folks here and there. We'll see, I guess!
