Avery is the biggest whining crybaby diver in the NHL. He doesn't play hockey. He just dives and instigates and then whines.
His own teammates dislike him. He won't be back.

ok that was bad, anyone will admit.
No one's prefect. I bet he wishes he never did that. He's a young kid remember. Think of the stupid things you did when you were his age.
I will give him a pass.

I remember not liking Gretzky early on in old Smyth Division being a Canucks fan. He turned out OK
Ya never know, one day he might be a Flyer

Then maybe you should let it go. Face it. Your D was horribly weak and Jeff Carter disappeared. At least you have Claude Giroux (another fine Canadian) who is the next up and coming star of the league.

that's because the league has become watered down with minor league caliber players masquerading as legit NHL'ers. It's still a great league and the playoffs are the best of all pro sports, but Gary Bettman plans for expansion were too fast/aggressive. All the hooking and holding came in during the early 90's. Unfortunately, you still have players getting away with hooking and holding penalties even after the so called crackdown on obstruction was implemented.

yeh hes my fav, i have been saying since 2006 when they drafted him, that he needed to be playing, but no the flyers gm does it again, only plays him 10 games this season, then come the playoffs, he is the only reason why we made it to game 6....he is very very good, next forsberg in my eyes
flyers D consists of Timonem and Coburn, I still dont understand why Sbisa wasnt ont he roster all season, hes a solid young D man, But flyers Gm does it again

yes, they just can't get it right. They had it right for 1 season.
There's a lot of skill out there. I don't think lack of skill is the problem. Unfortunately it's too easy to bog down the good players.

Claude Giroux played more than 10 games Bro. In fact, he played more than half a season by 1 game.

Mike Richards ready to tee off. Jeff Carter waits for his turn. No sign of Simone Gagne or Daniel Briere. They're still trying to figure out how they blew a 3 goal lead in a must win game at home that Sidney Crosby took over.
