I'm taking the Miami Heat ML tonight..
Atlanta are 0-11 SU and ATS their last 11 road playoff games. Their last road win was 1997.

Their average losing margin -17.7 points. They lost one game by 7 points, other 10 losses were all by double-digits with the second closest game being 10 points.

Their last eight losing margins were 34,25,19,23,13,12,19,16.

Miami at less than -200 is a great opportunity.

By the way, nice research and a solid play.

1997 is irrelevant but most recent road losing margins is very relevant.

He usually plays limited minutes though, and he hardly played in Game 3 when the Heat won in a rout.

yes but thats because he got injured in 2Q ... otherwise he would have played 20+ minutes. which coach doesnt want to leave a 100% shooter on the floor?

The Hawks may be without one of their small forwards as well. Marvin Williams has a sprained right wrist and his status will be determined shortly before game time.

Lou is giving out the loser again. Answer this for me lou. We know you don't bet since you're not aloud to have offshore accounts, so why post picks? To give out losers. The more losing posters there are the more money sbrforum makes. IE just like how bill dozer made a thread about the pistons +900 was juicy against the cavs. Fuking disgraceful business decisions if you ask me.

                                  i just dont understand why:

miami blows atl out by about 30 points in game 3.
2 nights later, its game 4, and the line opens up only 1/2 point higher than it opened up for game 3.
as a matter of fact, LVSC had it opened at -3.5 (their game 3 line was -4.5)
in that case, game 4's line is actually lower than game 3's.

the books are pushing for an atlanta win.

Lots of -5s out there now, so that should ease your mind a bit. It is not like the books are holding the line steady with the flood of Miami money, or worse yet, there is no RLM.

You are under-estimating the Hawks here. They have beat Heat earlier this year in Miami and I read in the paper today that JJ guaranteed a victory. JJ will have MVP numbers today. Watch out for the Hawks.

Miami at less than -200 is a great opportunity.

I don't think so. That just means more minutes for Beasley. Plus Marvin Williams is out for Atlanta.

I got a feeling you will never bet against Dwyane Wade in the playoffs @ home after tonight. He is going to have you all night. I have been a season ticket holder since he got here and he still amazes me and more so come playoff time. The Hawks don't have anyone to even contain him. He has been hitting his 3's and anyone who knows about basketball will tell you that he is unstoppable when he's hitting those.
