Help loading video. Bread? RogueJuror?

I have this video file we talked about but I have no idea what to do with it to get it to the forum.

I'm not even sure what to tell you about it. It is big. Apparently it was too big to e-mail so I had to pick it up at a website for big files.

Here's what I can see. It is an .avi file.

The length is 7:08. The first few minutes is talking and fussing around and I wouldn't mind chopping that off but that may be getting too ambitious.

It says Bit Rate 256 kbps.
Dimensions: 720 x 480
390 MB



So if you have any instructions on how to move forward I will give it my best shot.

Go to SBR.tv....log in and then go to upload video. You then will be asked to find the file on your computer. It is really easy and should start uploading from there.....

That file is going to take quite a while to upload. Not sure how the process goes, but SBR.tv needs to resize and re-encode large files such as these.

I presume that you don't have a simple video converter application? If you do, reencoding the file yourself at 320x240 resolution will accelerate the upload quite a bit.

My advice is to start the upload and go watch a movie.

Yeah I don't know if I have that and, if I do, how to use it. I can't stress strongly enough how dense I am regarding computer matters. I'll probably just have to go for it and if it takes awhile, it takes awhile.

Actually, based on what you are saying, I think I'll do it later this evening. It sounds like it ties up the computer completely and I have a lot to do with this computer this afternoon.

after you upload it you will get a link..paste that link into a new post and highlight it, than click on SBR TV icon right above your post..it will put in the correct code to link your video
