One luxury vehicle youve wanted since you were a little kid?
I always wanted a Cadillac Escalade. Everytime I see one its like a slice of heaven. I will get one someday and it will be black on black, chrome out the waazoo and woodgrain on the dash. Thats how guys like Me and RoguieJuror roll.

The Escalade was introduced for the 1999 model year.
How can you dream of having this vehicle as a little kid if it was introduced only 10 years ago.

The bigger question is: how can you dream of having a fat SUV that was originally marketed towards middle-aged people? Do kids really put Escalade posters on their walls? What happened to Lamborghini Countachs?

I hope not 5-7 years old. A little kid is 5-7 years old. And how many Escalades were around in 1999 when it came out. Not that many.

1962 Chevy Apache pickup, been my favorite vehicle since my abuelito drove a brand new one off the lot when most of your parents were kids.

Not that anyone asked, but to be more specific, my dream car is the 964 Turbo. Ideally in black, but red will do.

You really haven't lived until you've cruised around in an orange 1978 Ford Pinto with the latest 8 track player installed:

OMG pavy, that looks so dated. You just crushed a childhood memory.
Would much rather have a Gallardo today.

The question in this thread is what car you were dreaming as a little kid. When I was a little kid in the 70's this was the car to have.

I cannot stand new vehicles. I want something with a body made out of sheet metal, a four-barrel carbuerator, four on the floor, and enough room in the engine compartment that I can sit on the fender well and tinker on my V8. I've wanted a 1970 Oldsmobile 442 for as long as I've been dreaming of cars. We're talking 420 horsepower, 455 cubic inches of displacement, and 500 pound feet of torque. Let's see your Escalades or Italian pussy-rides show a tenth of the style of this masterwork of automobile design.

True. It was too when I was a little kid in the early-to-mid-80's.
I just wasn't that specific as a kid though - any 911 would've done the job, and any would still do the trick today. Even the lowly 996 I'll rent this summer.
