yeah, I was thinking the same thing...If I had to take a guess, I'd say gamblers who were trying to be cute by betting the line instead of the teams and thinking this was a "trap" game or "sucker" bet because the line was low when USC was clearly the better team having kicked UCLA's ass twice already and probably also the old theory "it's hard to beat a team 3x's in the same season".

maybe they used reverse psychology and intentionally put out a very low number hoping many degenerates would take the bait thinking the line was bad, or trap game, or sucker bet and they were right ...a lot of idiots took the bait...hook, line, and sinker and late money pouring in on UCLA which drove the line down to -1.5 and for third time USC took an early lead and never looked back, basically dominating the whole game from start to finish.

This has been a good day outside of the tough loss on Arizona. Got very lucky to hit Iowa State although that doesn't come close to making up for the Zona loss. Would be nice if Cal can come through late. We'll see what happens.
