Men How Far Is Lake Las Vegas From The Strip?

Morning/afternoon rush hours might take a few more minutes but it's about a 30 minute drive as someone stated earlier. Traffic generally flows pretty well on the freeways outside of the spaghetti bowl during rush hours. Lake Las Vegas is not recommended if you're just here to gamble or party though. If you're here for work, to relax or play golf, or go to the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, etc. then it might be worthwhile to stay there.

Buddy has a time share out there that he can't use so as opposed to paying for Aria ($175 per) or the 2 free nights at the Trop (here its a shit hole) was offered his spot. I'm renting a car so no issue there. Is it far away from the strip? Traffic a pain in the ass driving up on friday / saturday / sunday? Parking? Thanks
