I noticed on Friday when the payroll hit my bank that I had received $8.00 more in my checking courtesy of president Barack "Hollywoood" Obama and his fine administration.

This tax cut is so small it's almost an insult. Especially when you hear him talking about like it's this great thing he's done and what a wonderful positive affect it will have on the economy.

When Bush "Dumbya" was president he gave a $300 tax rebate as a lump sum. Obama is basically giving it as a weekly tax rebate so by the end of the year it will be the same as $300 lump sum.

Nobody is getting a tax cut. The tax tables have not been changed. This is just a reduction in withholding. You still have to pay the taxes at the end of the year.

Not only that but state governments are already starting to raise taxes on everything and anything. From fishing licenses to cigarettes they will rape us at an astronomical rate.

You also have to consider that will Obama's out of control spending plan they will have no choice but to raise the income tax. I think the figure is something like every man, woman and child now owe the Fed $57,000.00 per year starting in 2009.

It's no secret that Obama's spending plan really won't create any jobs at all. So with wages falling and the fact that we're still losing 600K jobs a month I'm not quite sure how this economy is going to grow at all for the next decade. The NY fed has done a decent job manipulating the market up to 8,000 but I'm not so sure even these levels are sustainable.

Maybe Obama can use the Bush "Dumbya" plan. Invade some obscure country in Africa to stimulate the economy. Maybe Libya or Somalia just for shit and giggles. He can hire again the same CIA team that produced the WMD reports for Iraqi War. That will create some jobs for this ailing economy.

I remember when he was running for the presidency, CNN was interviewing an african woman and the reporter asked her why she was voting for Obama, her response was,"Obama gonna pay my bills and ma mo-gage."

Now we certainly can expect people like this woman to understand how Obama is destroying our country. The one thing she will understand is eventually she won't be afford to turn the lights on in her house..........

Sharp post, safe to say many of his voters voted him "just because", rather than actually knowing a thing about him. That's OK I guess because most people just vote for who impresses them more on TV, but I think McCain was the better of the two.

Again, it isn't a tax cut. The tax rate has not changed. They are just withholding less and it will be due come April 15th next year.
