Parcells is a geneous and as soon as they hired him, I knew they would be fighting for the division in a couple years and having a shot for the Superbowl in 3 years.
Never expected such a fast turn a round for sure. Who realistically did?
Maybe the toughest schedule in the NFL this year. It will be interesting!
AFC east could once again be the best division in football.

The Philadelphia Eagles are my team, although I don't purchase the NFL Sunday Ticket (the NFL is so lame compared to Pac-10 football) so now I root for the Raiders, my childhood team. When I lived in Oregon I was a Seahawks fan. Pro sports is not something I can really hang my identity on. When someone asks me who I'm a fan of, the first thought in my mind is always, "I'm a [Oregon State] Beavers fan, no matter the sport."

I'm a Falcons fan and last year was an amazing breakout season and now we got Gonzales.
I live 2 hours from Qwest field and I'm currently on the waiting list for Seahawks season tickets (coming up on 3 years, praying this is the year) I hope the hawks draft Crabtree, I want to be able to watch this guy develop. Having Crabtree and Housurmomma will make for a pretty exiting offence...

Minnesota Vikings, not excited about the draft since Vikings are projected to get a right guard with their 1st round pick. Vikings need a f*cking qb and we would have a good shot at a deep playoff run.

San Diego Chargers born and raised. Really excited for the draft today. Id like to see the Bolts take Rey Maualuga with the 16th pick!

I dont think Beanie will be around at 16. Moreno is a possibility. I wouldnt be shocked if we took a RB. Sproles will only be around for 1 more year, and next years RB class isnt very good

Packers & Colts. I'm such a huge NFL fan, I take a team from each conference. Packers are my home team. Colts are the geographically closest AFC team. Both are my favorite, but every 4 years when they play each other, I'm definitely conflicted. But that only happens on leap years. If it happens in the Super Bowl, I think I'll be too happy that both teams made it, I wouldn't care who wins. Plus it will probably never happen, but I'd be happy to tempt fate.
In the draft, Colts & Packers have similar but different needs. They both need defense. Colts need it mostly on the DL in the 4-3, the Packers need it tweaked all over as they adjust to the 3-4 from the 4-3. Colts biggest priority will be an anchor DT, the Packers need an end rusher opposite Kampman. Even so, both teams can still draft for value if the perfect player doesn't fall into their range. Colts still need depth at WR, RB, LB, etc. Packers need depth everywhere on defense as they move to the 3-4.

I'm a fan of whatever team is paying me off during the season. However, the rest of the time it's all: PAAAAAAAAAAAACK PACKPACKPACKPACKPACKPACK.
I grew up in cheeseland - you go to church on sundays and come home and watch them lose. That's growing up in Wisconsin! Ah the glory days of Lynn Dickey.

Lynn Dickey could fling it! It's the coaching that sucked. Forrest Gregg's play calling was horrendous. Run-Run-Pass-Punt. I blame the decades of darkness (70's & 80's) on the coaching. When Holmgren showed up, everything changed. Although, we did get a little help from a guy named Reggie White. Favre was simply the spark that lit the fire. Reggie was the heart & soul during our championship years in the '90's.

Can't believe Rey lasted until 38th.
Crab and a first rounder for next year...was hoping to get Everette instead of trading the pick so Car could take him.

I'm pretty happy with the way the Packers & Colts drafted. Colts added a solid RB as well as addressing the DT position, Packers got a solid NT & LB to help revamp the defense. Now it's just a matter of seeing how these guys look on Sunday.

Good luck, but early on I do forecast the Pack as a 9 win team.

That's where I have them too. Unfortunately that puts them at 3rd place in the division behind Chicago(11 wins) & Minnesota(10 wins). So, we'll be on the outside looking in as far as the playoffs. Hopefully we can at least hang around during the first half of the year, going maybe 5-3, then see how things fall down the stretch. Who knows, maybe Cutler will break his leg week 1 and the division will be wide open.
@AZ week 17 already looks interesting. I almost see that game being for the final wild card spot in the NFC. (I see AZ slumping with the SuperBowl hangover, plus either a Seattle bounce back or San Fran spurred by Singletary to an unlikely division win.)

I really like the Eagles this year. Every move they make seems like the right one. McNabb & Westbrook aren't getting any younger. The future is now for this team. I expect big things from them this year. They'll definitely be in the playoff mix, but they always seem to poop out in the NFC championship game. We'll see if they can take the next step this year and finally get a ring.

Thought i'd bring this topic up as it was from a few years ago. Actually met Lynn last night and he is a great guy. Had some drinks with him and chatted for a while. Lynn is a good guy.
