    NBA Total move: Common occurence?
Good day Forumites.....I pretty much know nothing when it comes to betting on the NBA, but something I have noticed today is that the O/U total on the Lakers game has basicaly gone from Under 200 1/2 -110, to Under 208 -110 throughout the course of the day...So here is my uneducated question: Is this type of movement just a "Kobe status thing", or is this great a number swing common in the NBA? Thanks in advance to those with a better knowledge in this sport area, which is basically everybody to be honest....

That's an injury type of move but it looks like there was some steam around 11:30 this morning giving it a 3 point jump. It's the Clippers tonight. No big injuries. Great time to bet NBA totals!

They're are alot of big line swings very early in the season. Dallas went from -5 to -2.5 right before tipoff as well. Things will settle down very soon though.

Agreed. Especially on totals. Not suprising to see 5+ point moves in totals early in the year

Add in to this the fact that you're playing russian roulette with the stars in the NBA each night, considering how the officials are tossing people just for jumping in the wrong direction.
