Here are some numbers from an actual casino on strip last night. Slot hold 1.4 mil Table game hold 1.9 mil. Do you still really think a 400k liability on NE winning outright makes a difference to bottom line?

As a Pats fan (and possibly bettor but probably won't bother), I'm very worried about this Vegas position! I was already petrified about the raping that is 1,000% sure to come from the refs if the game is even remotely close. Hochuli sucks to begin with, and likely he and his crew will be tossing phantom PI calls against our corners late in the game, or phantom OPI calls on legal rub plays... something, for sure.

But with Vegas so locked into the Broncos, I'm having even more nightmare fantasies about how this could play out. Basically, Pats need to step on them early.

Agreed, times have changed but the marketplace as a whole feeds off of itself. Pinny and Vegas not all that far apart when it comes to closing numbers (prices excluded).

i shouldnt say all of vegas because some books are sharper than others. westgate may have 3 while stations 3.5 but most these casinos dont want alot of exposure even if they are on the sharp side. there objective is to collect juice. hell they limit max bets on table games where they know they have edge. not like the old days where binions would let u bet millions on pass line

I'm on Denver most of this week, all kinds of positions. Win or lose, this is the bet I must make. My forecasts show Denver winning 24-21 and while there is reason it could be wrong, it's the sharp way to go for a few market reasons, including the projection. I’m not surprised the early opener of 3.5 moved to 3 and am also not surprised the 44.5 was static so long before moving onto 45. My “raw” predictions went to 47 and others a little higher. The total line is very sharp but I feel the game spread is off. It could be a trap for some groups of bettors...

Well... 2 ways to look at this. Martingale the 2 favs... or 2 underdogs. Could you see New England VS Carolina in the Super Bowl? Both great teams... 1 probably going to end up there.. right? Then Martingale -3 each. First game wins... BOOM... you're done. Enjoy the $

...Truth be told... if you're losing 6 straight wagers on your most calculated and precise analyst and you still lose... you shouldn't be sports gambling.

Either you haven't been doing this for very long or you have a poor memory. Either way I thank you for whatever contributions you've made to the marketplace, some of which I've taken, and would encourage you to be willing to learn along the way in an effort to improve at sportsbetting.

There's a learning curve on which you have just begun to ride, regardless of how long you've been betting.

Start with the basics, track your bets and why you made them, and try to understand why the line opens where it does and why it moves to where it does.
