Rangers have no business being up 3-1 in the series.
Washington will win tonight and the series
5-2 Capitals

Amazing the juice people are willing to pay to bet teams that are on the brink of elimination. Can't wait for the "SJ Sharks come back tonight and then win the Cup in a month" thread.
Sharks have made earlier-than-anticipated exits every year for like the past 5 years.
As for the Caps. Inflated line due to all the Ovechkin grabazzes

you're going to lay that kind of chalk? Inadvisable. And I'm willing to bet the Rangers win the series.

I seen every game they've played, it should be washington up 3-1 if anything and I don't think NY has talent of Washington and that's why they play best of seven. They could lost 5-0 I know. Anything is possible. That's what's gambling's all about right?
good luck.

Fallacy. Their recent "choking" is overstated. They lost once recently as a high seed.
2006: #5 seed, beat #4 Nashville in 5, lost to Western Conference champion Edmonton in 6
2007: #5 seed, beat #4 Nashville in 5 again, lost to Detroit in 6
2008: #2 seed, beat #8 Calgary in 7, lost to Dallas in 6
Hardly the "regular season monsters, playoff chokers" the media touts. I read an SI article on them and I thought it was funny they were promoting a myth that the facts they mentioned disproved.

I agree. In general, they have lost to better teams.

in fact, they didn't lose in the first round once in the past seven years.
"Sharks are chokers" is a media-created myth.
If you want to go back farther, 2005 was the lockout, and 2004 they made it to the Conference Finals.
Starting in 2004, they've won five playoff series. Not many teams can say that, aside from the Cup winners like New Jersey and Detroit.

it does seem like it though doesn't it?
I guess it's because they always seem to have a great regular season and you never see them playing for the western conference championship.

And before last year, Detroit was every bit the "playoff choker" that San Jose is. But they were never labeled so.

What? Detroit has won it 11X and 4X since 97
I disagree. I wish the Canucks had your definition of 'play-off choker'

In the same period of time we are talking about with San Jose, Detroit was losing a lot of series that they should have won.

still, one cup ever 3 years ain't bad in the last 12 years. They can't win every year. I am just saying 'play-off chokers' isn't the appropriate word when describing the Red Wings.

And I don't think it is appropriate to label the Sharks as ones either. Although this year, they really are choking in every sense of the word.

agreed. It's does seem that they should have gotten farther in the playoffs over the last 5 or so seasons with all that talent and good regular seasons.

Every year for past few, media has touted Sharks as a huge playoff contender. Even when they didnt win the Western conference. They have always had 'disappointing' performances.
Hey Dwight
I hope "you seen" the Caps lose again tonight.

Detroit ends up getting a pass for their early flameouts because they've gotten to the top a few times.
Still, I don't think any other team has lost in the first round as a high seed as often as Detroit has.

It's just ridiculous to say a #5 seed "choked" because it didn't reach the Western Conference Finals.
They beat the #4 seed in 5 games back to back years. They didn't have home ice and they dominated. That's not choking.

Good call Dwight. Hopefully Caps can keep it going. They're too fun of a team.
Detroit was chocking alot until they won the cup in the mid 90's. Since then they won 3 more, No way is a team like that in the same class as San Jose, whose yet to win 1.

Thanks bro
I think who wins game 6 on Sunday will win the series. NYR has no almost no chance if it goes back to Washington for game 7.
Agree?

Who knows. All depends on how the puck bounces. Washington had a bunch of chances in game 4 and only got 1 goal.

I agree. I think I'm gonna get on NY for game 6 to cover my series bet with Washington, If washington wins I will pound the Caps in game 7 like they're Rhianna... and I'm Chris Brown.

I would stay on the Caps bro. It's going 7 and Caps are going through. NYR are out of gas I think and Ovechkin and the gang are on a roll.
Caps game 6 and again game 7 is the play me thinks. Good luck!
I miss Vancouver during play-offs, so enjoy the run and lets hope they get to the final.
