doubtful amby, the one and only time I can gloat about them this year......

although they are using a part of the Tampa Bay turn around recipe....

much improved Defense, they are turning balls put into play, into outs.... their pitchers are dead last on the list in terms of Strike Outs, yet they are still getting alot of outs..... prob a fluke though

I have seen some nice adjustments they've made on D, and Nyjer Morgan is a huge improvement of J.Bay in left...

In addition to seeing Pittsburgh on top, there are a couple of other things that strike me as out of place. Just two AL clubs crack the Top 10, and the Houston Astros are in the Top 10 despite the losing record and despite playing the toughest schedule according to this set of rankings.

how long till things start to get situated for real? only 10% of the season in, but this is the longest my buccos have been in "contention" since I was going through puberty....

( I think my pubice is bad luck to the pirates..... like the cubs billy goat curse, my balls dropping have put the hex on the pirates)

this list essentially just shows this as they are NOW, means very little in the overall sense of how things will end up. Though it may be applicable in some fashion.

Aaron Hill is a good hitter and probably better than anything Tampa has.

Fivey I love ya, but you didn't make it with that statement...

Hill is off to a great start, but i'm sure his career ops is about .750

and he is better then about 4 players that tampa has

He'll probably hit 30 home runs this year.

20 is very realistic, and in 2007 (his last healthy year) he was easily a Top 10 2B.

A career .288 hitter with some pop in his bat, you could certainly do a lot worse at 2B.

More than 20. Book it. Has to stay healthy, though. Which has been a problem for him. He has been a gamer since day 1. You could tell he had "IT".
