I phone and ORB? Live TV

I am very confused about this issue. I have asked apple, the AT&T local store about viewing live tv and they keep saying not yet. If you do a search for ORB it says you can now view live TV. How in the hell does it work and how do you do it? It also talks about a TV tuner card?

Also, what is the advantage/disadvantage if you jailbreak your phone? I really don't know what that means... thanks in advance.

You need to have a tuner card on your computer. Orb works like a slingbox, except that with Orb, you have to keep the Orb server on all the time on your computer.
