I agree...the one announcer is a idiot.. Earlier he was saying that would have gone for a td on incomplete passes and missed ints from 50+ yards out. Now he expects a guy to stop tackling a guy midair when he crosses out of bounds

#114Edelman was stopped half a yard short on the first down. Can't believe they didn't even check it, why not? Timeout called and it's the game if it isn't checked.
Well, I can believe they didn't check it: it's the PatriotsComment -

#117Regardless they stopped them from getting a 1st down and forced a turnover. It's better then a 30 yard completion and a 1st down.Originally posted by The Giant30 yards of field position.Comment -

Bigger problem was though, that Smith with a career high on pass attempts against Brady when your only chance is to run the ball...Comment -

#119This is, of course, assuming the 1st down line on the field was correct. His ass was down and he was sitting up, half a yard short. Then he laid on his back and went past the 1st. His ass was down before that, so he was down and the ball was behind the 1st down line. Reverse it and maybe the Chiefs get the ball back.Originally posted by DwightShruteyup
Yes, they abandoned the run too early. Was working well for them. Mainly using their 4th string RB hurts, but he was still doing well.Originally posted by zizoudane10Trug

Chiefs lost by 7, but a few plays that don't go the Pats way and they could have won by 7.Comment -

#123Sure, when he laid down. His ass was down and he was sitting up, holding the ball a half yard short. They gave him the spot when he laid down, that's not how it's supposed to work.Originally posted by pboozer57Half yard short? It was a first down all the way.Comment -

#124Bellicheck did some odds things in that 4th quarter. He was still passing up by 14 with only 5 minutes and gave the Chiefs some life at the end. And then that final pass that was nearly picked off. Unnecessary gamble on his part.Comment -

#125Ugh your missing the point, why only those two options?Originally posted by The GiantWould you rather have the ball on your own 20 yard line, or midfield?
Your excluding the 3rd option which includes KC having the ball on your own 20 yard line.Comment -

#128They were not doing too bad, but even if they were, don't try to hang on with passing game here, why? #129That's the problem I have with the majority of NFL coaches. They try WAY too hard to make it a balanced offense. Instead of sticking to what's working, they try to even it out. Another game comes to mind this year when the Jags lost to the Saints, they constantly kept trying to run the ball even though the passing game was working well. By the time they realized that passing every down was going win it was too late.Originally posted by zizoudane10They were not doing too bad, but even if they were, don't try to hang on with passing game here, why?
