To answer the OP... Why do people like the Lakers tonight? Because they like losing money

The books were hoping peeps would hammer the Lakers. Most didn't bite though.

All that matters is being on the winning side. I know guys that are smart as hell, some have more degrees than a thermometer. Would you prefer to say you got a Phd in capping from Harvard or say "I is rich"??? What some people call luck others call preparation.

Utah really should have won this game by much more. Jerry Sloan was horrible tonight. There were long stretches where Utah had zero energy which led to turnovers, bad shots, etc. He refused to make adjustments or call timeouts. He left Boozer on the bench in the 2nd half for waaay too long when clearly Boozer was the best player on the court. Utah shot <50% at the free throw line giving up about 10 easy points.

Kobe was horrible tonight but Sloans ineptitude almost lost the game.

If you look at the history of these teams, Utah has own Kobe at home, especially in the playoffs where now I think he's 1-10. Add the fact that the Lakers have been playing uninspired, unmotivated, thinking they can just show up and win. Utah came to within 3 in game 1 and pushed the Laker's in game 2 as well, where you know they are horrible plus game 3 dogs are like almost 70% ML when down 2-0. If there's a game for Utah to win it was this one.

But of course... I'd rather be lucky then good.
