    Yeah but he is still Hamels and it's just a matter of time before he turns things around.

    That said, you are right that you cant lay these odds with him right now, but I would rather just stay away than hope that his slump continues.

      I don't like staying away because a pitcher has not performed well, is the idea wait until they throw a good game and then it's safe to back them until they pitch bad again?

      Hamels at -170 against the Brewers D. Bush is a solid bet IMO.

        I didn't like the line, but took the Phillies anyway. Agreed, Hamels has looked crappy, but the Phils are due for a win, and today they get it.

            Even if Hamels doesn't pitch well, the Phillies have a good chance of winning.
