haha curry a star in the nba seriously are you guys high???
hes a worse shooter than reddick (who absolutely sucks in the nba) and has the body of a 12 yr old girl

this guy will be a bust, i can't wait to see which idiotic team takes him

nba is about being athletic not just shooting well
at best he'll make the d-league but will probably be kicked out

also plz don't compare him to iverson who singlehandedly led his team to the nba finals, this curry kid will NEVER be able to do that in the nba

I think he can be valuable as a shooter off the bench....

maybe he can be like dad, Dell and that would be a decent NBA career

I'll give you Boobie Gibson and my first rd pick for him!

He seems like the type of player you keep on your squad even if he can't get it done in games. Good guy for locker room, practice and will end up being a coach... The kind of guy whose hoop smarts took him this far.

Nate Robinson is a 5'10 shooting guard. Is he better than him?

I've watched Reggie since at UCLA and he was never more than a catch and shoot player. Curry is NOTHING like that. He has the quickness and the handles to breakdown defenders. Just watch what he did against Gonzaga, Georgetown and Wisconsin during the 2008 NCAA Tournament. No one could stop him as he did whatever he wanted.

Its also ignorant to say small players cant take it to the basket in the NBA. Tony Parker, Steve Nash and Chris Paul do it on a regular basis. They must be taking roids.
YOU are right he isnt reggie miller and wont have as successful a career as reggie....and wont even come close to AI..... he will not penetrate to the basket like AI did....he doesnt have the nasty crossover or the speed quickness or strength that iverson had. iverson may not have won and he def was a cancer but he did take a mediocre 76ers teams to the finals against the lakers....curry may have made a run to the elite 8 but come on are you serious.......if he was so amazing where was he this year? ooohhhh the NIT....impressive

Lebron James has seen him play and he has said that the guy will be one of the best PG's in the league. That's good enough for me.

Actually the guy I really like is Paddy Mill's of St. Mary's. Did you see him in the Olympics against team USA??? He was clearly the fastest guy on the court and he gave CP3 and Derron Williams fits. This guy reminds me of a faster Tony Parker with an established jumper. I think him and Curry are both going to be alright.

Haha what lebron was really thinking was I cant wait for this kid to try and take a charge against me so I can jump right through him and send his 3rd grade body to the hosipltal.

There is a very good reason alot of former players are horrible gms and coaches. think about it here is a list of jordans first round picks: PLAYER PPG RPG APG
                  2008 20 Alexis Ajinca 2.3 1.0 0.1
                  2008 9 D.J. Augustin 11.8 1.8 3.5
                  2007 22 Jared Dudley 5.6 3.5 1.0
                  2007 8 Brandan Wright 6.2 3.3 0.4
                  2006 3 Adam Morrison 8.7 2.4 1.6
                  2005 5 Raymond Felton 13.6 3.4 6.7
                  2005 13 Sean May 8.5 5.0 1.2
                  2004 2 Emeka Okafor 14.0 10.7 0.9
not one player has exceeded expectaations, emeka's been decent but he was #2 overall. We all know the great job elgin baylor has done at the clippers.

Can anyone name a great player turn great general manager?

That's the only reason he's putting up any numbers, if he was with anyone else, he wouldn't be having much success.

he can shoot lights out......but he can't play in the paint. He also has some trouble creating his shot and forget about defense.

No one on Golden State plays defense. It's the up and down style, not the player. Disagree that he has trouble creating his shot, at least not as much as most do in their rookie NBA season. He is advanced in that area right now. Very smooth player. If he can get some weight on that frame he will be tough.

Without a high screen and roll the guy is a pure shooter. Now that he is playing point, guys like Jason Kidd, Darrin Williams and Chauncy Billups will eat him up on the defensive side of the ball. These guys did it to Chris Paul his rookie year. Jason Kidd did everything but punch him in their playoff series.
