Posters Continually Betting Their Favorite Teams
I see it too often, it stops today or I will bet you go broke. I would advise staying away from your favorite teams and stop making rookie gambling mistakes. You all should no better by now.

Someone who is very in tune with their team knows them extremely in depth and can make much better assessments of when a line is off.

It isn't always a negative if you have some discipline and the ability to be subjective.

I thought so too. I went about 50% on Kentucky games this year. I get notified what the fukkin players eat for breakfast, when they brush their teeth, etc.

          Didn't matter. 50%.

I agree Vegas. I think JJ means more of the person that bets on their favorite teams EVERY GAME. I have gotten myself disciplined enough now that I can bet AGAINST my favorite teams. When I was in my 20's, I could not.

I will finish + Units on Cubs games... Already hit Rockies +206 vs Cubs this year. I know them better than Lou

Agreed. I love the Raiders with all my heart, but if I'd bet them every game over the last 5 years I'd be the most buried poster in SBR history.

JJ, Everyone wants action, if going to see a game - a true gambler NEEDS action.

I confess that I always bet on my Beavers regardless of the matchup or the wisdom of doing so. However, since I stick unflinchingly to my one unit bets at $25, I can afford the loss and it's worth more to me to have money on my team than it is to actually win a bet at such a manageable size. Some things are more important than making money, like loyalty to the university that was your home and family when you first embarked on the path of self-sufficiency.

it doesn't matter if you bet on your fav teams, or road team ONLY or dogs only, or even favs only.. as long as you are getting a good #, you will end up a winner...

it doesn't matter who you bet, just beat the closing #.. in the long run, you will take the money..

rarely does a bettor bet against his favorite team, you can do all the research you want but the player will find a way to bet his team.

Sick gambler lost a fortune on Canadiens in the playoffs. This was the best Habs team since 1977.

JJ, I disagree 100%, I made a killing off UNC in the tournament. Easiest money I have ever made, there wasn't 1 game that I even had to sweat.

What people don't understand is, UNC was a bailout for the world of gamblers, its just sad so many missed the boat.

A good example here in the Colts. Sports books hang a line of minus 4 and the Local Book put it out there @ minus 6. The homers nail it all day long no matter. Same with overs. 44.5 on line and the local hangs 47. Makes no difference. Lopsided on over all day.

Great point VD. I know just about everything about the Padres, and have made a decent amount of cash already this year. Like you said the key is to be subjective.
