Some interesting feedback on here! Everyone has a different perspective, so I'm not taking anything personally.. It's a learning experience for me to see what others have to say.

Personally I thought a tout was someone who sold picks for money.. (not what I am trying to do here)
The act of me throwing up a link that welcomes donations seems to have pinched a nerve with some of you guys I take it? The OPTION is there for you to make a choice.. you can choose to do it or not do it as with any other choice you make in life..

I guess it's easy to make the assumption that since I've put up the hyperlink to my Paypal that it means I am BEGGING for viewers to pay me right?

I'm not a tech wizard nor am I business mogul.. I'm just an ambitious kid in his mid-20s trying to make the best use of my resources. Paypal has made it simple enough for me to embed a link online that allows others to send me money.. How crazy is that? I don't have any experience as a retailer or a merchant selling things online so the concept of potentially being on the receiving end of E-Commerce is brand new to me. If a wealthy passerby happens to come across my social media page, sees my effort, and wants to generously donate something to me, I will welcome it with open arms.. simple as that. They can CHOOSE whether or not they want to do it.. I am enabling them to make the choice.

If my social media page was solely dedicated towards uploading my poetry or artwork and I had a link up for optional donations.. would it still be perceived as being a tout? Probably less likely I'd assume..

I can go on and explain my rationale in more details but I don't want it to turn out to be a TLDR like my first post for some readers..

@tryx3: I said I have been a lurker for the past 5 years on this forum.. I think a more appropriate word to use would be free-loader.. and I'm just telling it as it is. I would log on, collect my points and log off... Occasionally I would click on a post here and there.. no real effort put into this site whatsoever

Dante you shouldn't post your personal links as that's an SBR party foul.... All you would have to do is hit EDIT and remove your links at any time on both your thread starts and instead type your picks out and all this could have been avoided.. Are we learning yet?
